Deine Aufgaben

Wir suchen einen erfahrenen Senior DevOps Engineer (m/w/d), der unser Software-Engineering-Team verstärkt. In dieser Rolle bist du verantwortlich für den Aufbau und die Verwaltung unserer Deployment-Pipelines, die Automatisierung von Infrastruktur und Betrieb sowie die Sicherstellung der hohen Verfügbarkeit, Skalierbarkeit und Sicherheit unserer Anwendungen. Du bringst eine Leidenschaft für DevOps-Praktiken, CI/CD sowie Cloud-Architektur mit und genießt das Problemlösen in einer kollaborativen Umgebung.
In dieser Position arbeitest du eng mit dem Engineering-Team zusammen, um die Infrastruktur zu implementieren und zu verwalten, die unsere schnellen Entwicklungszyklen unterstützt. Du wirst maßgeblich daran beteiligt sein, die Deployment Häufigkeit zu erhöhen, die Durchlaufzeit zu verkürzen und die Stabilität unserer Anwendungen zu verbessern.

CI/CD-Pipelines aufbauen und pflegen: Entwerfen, implementieren und optimieren von CI/CD-Pipelines, um die Softwarebereitstellung von Code bis zur Produktion zu automatisieren und zuverlässige sowie effiziente Bereitstellungsprozesse sicherzustellen.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Entwickeln und pflegen der automatisierten Infrastrukturbereitstellung mithilfe von Tools wie Terraform und Ansible. Sicherstellen, dass die Infrastruktur skalierbar, sicher und mit den besten Praktiken im Einklang steht.
Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklungsteams: Eng mit Softwareentwicklern zusammenarbeiten, um die nahtlose Integration neuer Funktionen und Änderungen in die Produktion sicherzustellen.
Systemleistung überwachen und optimieren: Implementieren von Monitoring-, Logging- und Alarmierungslösungen, um Leistung der Produktionssysteme proaktiv zu verwalten.
Cloud-Management: Verwalten und optimieren der cloudbasierten Infrastruktur, um Skalierbarkeit und Kosteneffizienz sicherzustellen. Erfahrung mit Azure ist von Vorteil.
Konfigurationsmanagement: Entwickeln und pflegen von Konfigurationsmanagementprozessen, um Konsistenz über alle Umgebungen hinweg sicherzustellen.
Incident Management und Troubleshooting: Auf Produktionsprobleme reagieren, Fehler beheben und die Ursachen ermitteln, um zukünftige Vorkommnisse zu verhindern. Implementieren automatisierter Lösungen, um manuelle Eingriffe zu reduzieren.
Sicherheit und Compliance: Implementieren von Sicherheits-Best Practices über Infrastruktur, Anwendungen und Bereitstellungen hinweg, um die Einhaltung von Industriestandards sicherzustellen.

Dein Profil

Nachgewiesene Erfahrung: mehrjährige Erfahrung in einer DevOps-, Site Reliability Engineering- oder ähnlichen Rolle.
Technische Expertise: Fundierte Kenntnisse in CI/CD-Tools, Konfigurationsmanagement-Tools und Infrastructure-as-Code-Tools.
Cloud-Plattformen: Beherrschung mindestens einer großen Cloud-Plattform (vorzugsweise Azure) und Erfahrung im Management von Cloud-Infrastrukturen.
Containerisierung und Orchestrierung: Praktische Erfahrung mit Docker und Orchestrierungstools wie Kubernetes.
Monitoring & Logging: Vertrautheit mit Monitoring- und Logging-Tools.
Scripting & Automatisierung: Starke Skriptkenntnisse in Sprachen wie Bash, Python oder Go sowie nachgewiesene Fähigkeit zur Automatisierung von Workflows und Infrastrukturaufgaben. Erfahrung mit PowerShell ist ein Plus.
Sicherheitsbewusstsein: Verständnis von Sicherheitsprinzipien und Best Practices, insbesondere in Cloud-Umgebungen.
Problemlösungsfähigkeiten: Fähigkeit zur Fehlerbehebung bei komplexen technischen Problemen und zur Ursachenanalyse.
Soft Skills: Hervorragende Kommunikations- und Kollaborationsfähigkeiten mit einem starken Fokus auf Teamarbeit und kontinuierliche Verbesserung.

Your mission

We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/x) to join our software engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing our deployment pipelines, automating infrastructure and operations, and ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about DevOps practices, CI/CD, cloud architecture, and enjoys problem-solving in a collaborative environment.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with software developers, to implement and manage infrastructure that supports our rapid development cycles. You’ll be instrumental in our efforts to increase deployment frequency, reduce lead time, and enhance the stability of our applications.

Build and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery from code to production, ensuring reliable and efficient deployment processes.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform and Ansible. Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.
Collaborate with Development teams: Work closely with software engineers to ensure the seamless integration of new features and changes into production.
Monitor and Optimize System Performance: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively manage the health and performance of production systems.
Cloud Management: Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency. Azure experience is a plus.
Configuration Management: Develop and maintain configuration management processes to ensure consistency across environments.
Incident Management and Troubleshooting: Respond to production issues, troubleshoot, and identify root causes to prevent future occurrences. Implement automated solutions to reduce manual intervention.
Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and deployments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Your profile

Proven Experience: 3+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar role.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, configuration management tools, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (preferably Azure) and experience with managing cloud infrastructure.
Containerization and Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Go, and a demonstrated ability to automate workflows and infrastructure tasks. PowerShell experience is a plus.
Security Awareness: Understanding of security principles and best practices, especially in cloud environments.
Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and root cause analysis.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.
Languages: English & German fluently
